Ping a website, server or port

"Ping" is a computer network utility used to test the reachability of a host and measure the round-trip time for packets sent from the source host to the target host. The command sends packets of data to the target host and measures the time it takes for the target to respond. This information can be used to determine if a network connection is available, the responsiveness of a network, and the quality of the network connection.

The "ping" command is available on most operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux. To use the "ping" command, you simply need to specify the target host, which can be an IP address or a domain name of a website or server.
